Drone Thermal Imaging
Aerial thermography is a very specialist activity. Thermal imaging cameras are expensive precision engineering equipment and require skill, experience and qualification in order to deploy them effectively. Drones are a perfect fit for many thermal survey projects as gaining an aerial perspective on roof inspections, insulation surveys and photovoltaic solar panel maintenance inspections is a huge advantage over using scaffolding and cherry pickers – not to mention that they avoid so many of the health and safety hurdles connected with working at height. Our CAA approved drone pilots who have specialised in thermal image data collections can fall into to four categories. 1. Thermal Image Data Collection, 2. Image Collection and Level 1 Thermographic Reporting, 3. Image Collection and Level 2 Thermographic Reporting and Sign-off and 4. Image Collection and Level 3 Thermography Analysis and Recommendation (the most advanced level).
